Navigation
Use the Contents page to locate a section of the report you want to
read.
Use the navigation menu at the left of the screen to go to main parts
of the report. The links to Volume 1, Volume 2 and Volume 3 link to
individual contents pages for each document. This menu is not present
in some pages which contain very wide tables: the links have been moved
to the top of the screen.
Use the top row of the navigation menu at the top of the screen to
exit from the report to the main website of the Review of Veterans'
Entitlements.
Use the second row of the navigation menu at the top of the screen
to go to the homepage and contents page for this report, and to the
Download/Print page for print-friendly PDF files.
Index
There is no index to the online report, but the PDF files include an
index.
Footnotes
Footnote numbers in the text are linked to the footnotes at the bottom
of each page. To return to where you were in the text, click on the
footnote number next to the footnote.
Viewing the report
The online report is best viewed at a screen resolution of at least 800 x 600 pixels. It is also best viewed in a version 5 or later browser. It can be viewed entirely in older browser versions but will look different.
To change the size of the text on screen, use your browser options (for example, View > Text Size, or View > Text Zoom).
To change the colours and fonts set by the report's stylesheet, use the browser options. For Internet Explorer, click on Tools > Internet Options, select Fonts or Colors and change the settings, then select Accessibility and tick the boxes to ignore colours, font styles or font sizes as required.
Printing the report
To print part of the report, we recommend that you click on the link
'Download and print' in the menu at the top of the screen and download
the PDF file for the section of the report you want to print.
However, you may also print directly from any page (the HTML pages).
You can resize the browser window before printing so that the page fits
on the paper, and you may also wish to change the text size (see Viewing
the report)
For pages containing wide tables, set the page size in your printer
options to Landscape.
Accessibility
This online report has been designed for accessibility, in consultation with the Vision Australia Foundation.
To improve accessibility for visually impaired users, slight changes have been made to the layout of some tables. If you wish to see these tables as they are presented in the printed version, please go to the Print/Download page and open the PDF file for the section you are viewing.
